We provide face to face workshops on a variety of physical computing devices. Our workshops are intentionally designed to be active, engaging, and impactful

Participants will leave with resources and ideas for implementation. We feel face to face workshops provide the most efficacy however we understand that may not always be logistically possible. Contact us about online options..

Our Workshops

Our Focus

We focus on the belief that physical computing devices can be both a tool for teaching and powerful enabler for students as they explore, discover and learn intrinsically.  During our workshop attendees will first discover the features and capabilities of the device.  This is followed by active participation in hands on lessons that demonstrate how the device can be integrated into a curricular learning objective. Time is allotted for lesson planning and integrating the device.

Everyone leaves with resources to continue the planning and implementation process.

We provide workshop on the following Physical Devices:

Bee-Bot

Edison Robot

Finch

MaKey MaKey : Invention Literacy

Micro:bit

Lego Robotics

Sphero indi

Sphero Bolt

Process

We  work with you and the physical devices you have purchased. Together we look at your curriculum and find areas where integration would be most beneficial. Through this process we develop a hands on workshop that is meaningful, relatable, and applicable back in the classroom.
