OETC has hit the refresh button on its state technology conference, and I could not be more excited. Held in Columbus at the Convention Center on Feb 11-13, 2020, the 2020 conference promises to offer a different perspective. OETC has chosen InFocus as this year’s theme. The conference has committed to providing sessions that “focus on educators fully understanding technology…from policy and planning to integration and implementation.” Not just technology educators, but ALL educators should attend OETC. Sessions for teachers of every subject matter and grade level focused on technology integration will be available. Attendees will receive innovative ideas, best practices, hands on learning opportunities, and resources for the classroom.
New session formats include:
Learn Today, Do Tomorrow
Discuss and Discover
Make, Build, Do
OETC has also added more areas on the exhibitor floor, including Interactive Playgrounds and session classrooms. I am most excited about the new Networking Nook, which will provide opportunities to grow your Personal Learning Networks.
It is clear OETC recognized that the conference needed a refresh, and I am excited to see what OETC is implementing to meet the current needs of educators integrating technology across the state of Ohio. Click here to learn more about the conference. Early Bird registration ends Oct. 31.
The Call for proposals is now open until September 15th. I encourage you to consider presenting. This is Ohio’s largest technology conference and a great venue to share best practices and provide a view into upcoming trends.
Hope to see you there!
