Are you interested in starting a Makerspace or want to grow your current program? Consider attending the Ohio Technology Summit: Makerspace Edition. I have attended this conference in the past, and it was very beneficial. The Summit will be held at the Point, part of Otterbein University located in Westerville, Ohio just outside Columbus. The Point is “over 61,000 square feet of learning labs and maker space, think tanks, networking facilities, event space and designated co-working areas and offices.” Sessions will be led by presenters from across the state. Click here for registration and conference information. Learn more about The Point by clicking here. I will be leading a MaKey MaKey certification training the following day at The Point, October 30. Space is very limited for this training. If you are interested in receiving information about the MaKey MaKey training, click here .
