I am always saying “find the STEM in your curriculum, not the Curriculum for STEM”. STEM is everywhere. Whether you teach Kindergarten, Art, High School Science, or anything in between you will benefit from attending the Space Exploration Educators Conference in Houston, Texas at YES the Space Center! You will find the STEM in your curriculum here that you never knew was there. Come back with a plethora of ideas, not to mention learning about all the FREE resources from NASA that you can use across the curriculum. AND it is held right inside the Space Center, which includes the opportunity to walk inside the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the plane that flew it piggy back, back to Cape Canaveral. Inside the plane they tell you the story of the ingenuity it took to come up with what seemed like an improbable concept and brought it to reality.
